COVID-19 POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

· You will be able to enter the studio 15 minutes prior to your scheduled class.

· All new riders MUST be at the studio 15 minutes prior to their class to ensure that there is adequate time for a studio tour and to sign a waiver.

· Please be aware that you will be asked this COVID-19 screening question, as mandated by Interior Health, prior to entry into the studio  -  do you have a cough, fever, sore throat, or difficulty breathing?

· Social distancing is required at all times in the studio & spin room

· Please bring your own water in your water bottle to avoid congestion around the water station.  Our water station will be in operation and you will be able to purchase a retail water bottle if you have forgotten yours.

· Upon entering the studio, all riders must remove their footwear and proceed to the sanitization station. You will then proceed to the front desk to check in for your scheduled class, choose your bike, and receive your shoes and weights.

· If you require the usage of the washroom prior to your class, you are welcomed to use it but please know that there is no usage of the showers at this time.

· The accessible washroom at the back of the studio by the lockers will not be available to our clients to use.

· We will have a blocked off set of sanitized lockers that you will have access to in order to lock your belongings.

· Unfortunately, we ask that no loitering be done when you are ready to go, and that you please proceed directly into the spin room to your designated bike.

· You will need to be seated on your bike 5 minutes prior to your class starting to ensure that there is no rushing about which can cause social distancing issues.

· If you require additional assistance with your bike set-up, please do not ask another rider as the instructor will you assist you prior to the class start.

· During your ride, there will be no towel waving, high fives, bottle cheers & fist pumps – only air cheers!

· After your class, please remove your shoes and put them in the designated black bins, along with your weights.  Please also bring your towel out of the spin room and put it in the designated white basket when you are finished with it.  We ask that you please be mindful when leaving the spin room always ensuring that you are practicing social distancing.

· As much as we would love for you to hang out with us after your class, we ask that you please refrain from any loitering and leave within 10 minutes after your class has finished in order for our staff to prepare for the next set of riders.  However, if you are wanting to make a purchase of classes or merchandise, we are happy to work with you.

· We suggest taking your extended visiting and conversations outside of the studio, away from our front door please.

  • As we now will only have 19 bikes to ride per class, we are needing to make a change to our cancellation and late notice rules.  Please know that we implement these rules in order to ensure that we are able to have as many riders as possible enjoying a class!

· The schedule for the following week will be live on Mondays, ready for you to book yourself in.  Please be mindful of your bookings and only book a class that you are confident you can make.

· Any cancellation within 8 hours of your scheduled class to ride will be subject to a late cancellation charge of  $15 plus GST (if you are on a pass), or if you are using a punch pass, you will lose that ride.   If applicable, the late charge will be processed on your credit card on file or you will be contacted for payment.  If you are unable to make your class after the 8 hour cancellation deadline, due to extenuating circumstances, we ask that you please contact Sam at samantha@pacespinstudio.com.

· If you are unable to make your class prior to the 8 hour deadline, you will not be charged a late fee and this gives ample time for another rider to book the class.

· If you are unable to attend your scheduled class due to sickness, we suggest that you consult the self-assessment app at BC COVID 19  and not return to ride until you are symptom free.

Thank you,

The PACE Spin Studio Team
